Radio shuttle is a racking system relies on electric Pallet Runners automatically high density
pallet storage on racking rails it has three major parts rack, Pallet Runners and Forklift.
Radio shuttle rack is suitable for those big quantities but small variety goods like foods,
beverage, chemical and tobacco industry especially popular in refrigeration storage house.
Compared with DriveIn Rack the radio shuttle has greatly make full use of warehouse space,
improved the work efficiency, can store high density products and besides no need forklift entry
whist store and pick up goods.
Features:
The rail guided vehicles compact rack system(RGVCRS) achieves the semi-automatical compact pallet storage, by this combination with the channel racks and rail guided
vehicles. According to the locations of in or out entrance, the RGV could be sorted two kind of model,
first in first out(FIFO) and last in first out(LIFO).
FIFO:
The pallets loading entrance in one side, and taking out in other side
Advantages:
To achieve the order of logistics access, meeting the general requirements of logistics
To realize logistics access division operation, improving on the spot management.
Disadvantages:
Must be arranged forklift channels in two side of the RSCRS,the usage rates of dynamic storage is lower than the LIFO model
LIFO:
Pallets loading in or taking out all in one side of RSCRS, and arranging one forklift channel only one side
Advantages:
To arrange one forklift channel only one side, and utilizing the storage area maximally
To fulfill the situation which undemanding the specified order of seniority.
Disadvantages:
Can not achieve the specified order of pallets
